Résonances atemporelles
Résonances atemporelles is an augmented reality work, produced in collaboration with interactive media designers Thibault Landel and François Pallaud, based on the Tracadigash mural. Viewers of the mural can use some of the phrases from vintage postcards and vernacular film footage shot by vacationers, to create and send their own digital postcard. To do this, the viewer must stand at a distance of about two metres from the wall and use their phone camera to scan a bar code and “catch” five words. Then an algorithm uses the principle of the “Exquisite Corpse” surrealist parlour game to connect the selected words with sentences from the postcards and archival film clips. A digital postcard is then created that can be shared with friends.
